Oyez, oyez!

Good my ladies and gentles, hear ye, hear ye!

Reliable sources inform us that Arnab (a.k.a. GreatBong Bongoshontaan) is in town. This town.
Presumably, so are a few other bloggers from other remote corners.

This is of course a vaindairflll aww-pr-chunaytee. We can brighten their lives by exposing them to civilisation and its pleasures, pleasures unknown in the arid climes of Virginia and Illinois, where the skies are dark with Bushisms and ragged wraiths battle over their last I-Pod Nanos.

So ... Calcutta Bloggers' Meet on Sunday (16th October) afternoon around half four.
Venue: T3, the Flury's thingy on Free School Street at the corner with Park Street,
next to Wonderland, diagonally opposite the original Flury's.

  12. There's a Flury's thingy now called T3? By the time I get to Cal I probably will not recognize the place anymore.

  13. I know I'm guilty of loitering with intent. And may be nailed by a nifty notarised epistle from "Inky" or some such soon. So I'm leaving that day (slightly before 3 pm) for somewhere they can't find me.

It seems it was all fore-ordained. :-).

Like it or not, I (how does one capitalize that?) would have loved to be there. Esp. with people going to such lengths over asking for and giving directions.

    C'est ...

  14. Not fair :(
I wanna go to bloggers meet to - it should've been in Dec!

  15. Don't worry, there'll be more meets.

UI is interested in calling another one(We're tired of talking to Xaverian bloggers, most of whom are geeks - I didn't tell them about this meet)

Anyway, UI claims that he wants to host another one. Maybe.

  16. I have a feeling T3 should be warned.

Since I suggested it, feel sorta responsible.Have spent many smoky afternoons in there, hence question of loyalty - it is.It's a quiet, subdued sorta place. Dunno if it's ready for a sabha of such proportions.Heh.

It has loads of space though, so no worries anyone.

And not CCD please, Kanti. Have grown to hate jhingchak type places. And the music is so loud, you can hardly hear yourself speak. How is anyone supposed to have a conversation in there?

  17. waaah, aamar link kaaj korchhe na!!! I had linked both sets of photos, obviously, they were both equally brilliant *pauses midst tirade to flutter eyelashes very admiringly* but now the first link isn't working, and I don't know what to do. I'm impossibly bad with this stuff. Heeeelp!!

Also *suddenly very dignified and languidly grown-up* I shall be there on Sunday with my fluttering fan and beauty patches...be warned thou...

  18. @laura- you're right I suppose, but the coffee pai at crossword wasn't too bad...

@babelfish - why don't you just link to the post? That should be easier.

    ReplyDelete
  19. coffee pai at crossword is way too small! i may just happen to wander into t3 around 4:30-5... depends on where i am & what's my mood like... and bore the hell out of everyone...

    dekhi, ki theek kori...
