Curious

About a strange (i.e. curious) phenomenon.

Usually, the daily count of visitors to this blog is in single digits. Even I hadn't visited it in some weeks, which gives you an idea of how riveting the content is.

Then why, on the 12th, 13th and 14th of August, did the count go up into several hundreds? (Well, hundreds anyway)
Does anybody know? Did wossername, yes, Megan Fox, mention it on TV?

Regardless of if the hottest woman in the world did talk about your blog on TV, the mention of Megan Fox's name is definitely going to increase your web traffic for sure. :D

Now if you are CID curious about your surge in visits, then wouldn't a quick check of google analytics suffice? ( assuming that's where you're getting your visitor stats from) Source -> Referring sites and Keywords would tell you why exactly you're getting more traffic. At one time, "hot grandmas" was a traffic source for me!

Maybe they all thought the memo (about the Singularity) would appear on your blog?

Something to do with your 'Boipara' post maybe!!

Or Blogger wanted to use you as the new happening poster boy.

Or, your office suspected that you spend more time blogging than working and decided to deploy a plethora of agencies to check it out -- discreetly!!

Top Gear, I don't use GA. If I plug it in now, will it do a retrospective scan?

KM, the which? Singularity?

Ani, so much for being too busy to post - I can see my cred with you is low.

Unfortunately, it doesn't. The algorithm relies on code you paste into your header to collect stats on your visitors.
