All around, all around

CNN-IBN headlines, “Bangalore errupts”.

Lata Khubchandani in Outlook asks Helen, “Who’s moves do you like?”

Surely not much better than “Mentors Coaching Academy”, which is in “persuit of excellence”

And I’m a persnickety old fogey because these things bother me.

TimesNow, of course, is beyond the pale. I mean, what the hell is a "kawr-tAHjh" (to rhyme with "corsage") in a funeral procession? Which is worse, ignorance or pretentiousness? Pity. From what I hear, Arnab is an educated man. But then he’s only a ‘P’ away from …

On a related note, is there any rational explanation for what is happening in Bangalore? Wickedness I can understand, selfishness, cruelty even. How does one comprehend sheer stupidity?

****

On a further related note, here’s to the seekers after knowledge who come here looking for “carol gracias wardrobe malfunction pictures” and all possible combinations thereof. I have some sympathy for the “Siddharth Suryanarayan” fans, but seriously, the hordes of Carol Gracias seekers have reduced me to a state where “bangla panu golpo” (or even “jap sex”) seems wholesome and “hydroscele” (ainh?!) a refreshing change! But then, I read Outlook and they have seen fit to print pictures of both the “malfunctions”. At some level, we are what we hate. Cripes!

Priceless !

Any relation to Milon-da's coaching ?(?....did I get the name right - memory is fading early - used to feature an ad on the last page of Ananda Bazaar - bespectacled man with a host of degrees on his tail - claimed coaching success on almost every subject on earth - template for some institute in news recently ;-) ..?)

Did not get the TimesNow-Arnab reference - link please ?

Bangalore.....as I read on some blog - we are now a nation of rebels without cause !

Oh, don't you see, the rioters in Bangalore are expressing their outrage against Failing Biological Processes?

Dr. Rajkumar`s fans expected him to rise up from his death-bed or wanted his mortal remains to turn into flowers ,thats all.when that didnot happen, they kind of got confused and started bashing up the cops(eternal bad guy in Kannada movies) hoping for a miracle.

Here's the classic one from TimesNOW. Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar dies of cardiac arrest. Thousands take to the street in protest.
Poor old Man! Can't even RIP.

Perhaps its just an excuse to go on a rampage?

Obviously its not the IT professionals engaging in this, but the other side of Bangalore. People who stood on the sidelines and watched their city transform, and are venting their frustration at being left out.

Or maybe its just a mad and stupid thing

Which three blogs did you read/like? Team Zebra has been a passion this year.

The "You can get rich..." line is an artifact from sixth grade, unfortunately.

And to answer your question, boss, it's hard to not be "found" on the internet. I've been reading you through an aggregator for months now :-)

I'm a big fan of how the Bloody Mary figures prominently in both our recent lives, though.

Dekhun Dada, unlike Kolkata the city of Bangalore shuts down only when something happens to Dr. Rajkumar (kidnapping / death). The only legitimate reason for Bangaloreans to stay at home and bunk work (when there are no festivals or national holidays) has been cruelly snatched away from us. How can you blame those people for grieving the way they did? ;P

[if !supportEmptyParas] WHY do we keep seeing this in your posts? Can something be done to fix it? It breaks the narrative flow, you know (very whiny)!

Ron: Awesome, awesome observation. This aspect of the event really never struck me!

With a flourishing 'holud boi' and 'panu' industry everywhere, it beats me why people serach for accidental malfunction pics when they can see it all!
